ANNOUNCEMENT: As some of you will already know, we are now well into the filming of the deep dive (will be a 2 parter) for our PowerPacks. After the development of some new hardware tooling and some spectacular results creating the next 2 PowerPacks which are coming soon (6V6 & EL84) I have decided to remaster the existing 2 packs using this new tooling and process. This will be a free update to existing owners, and will replace the old versions on the store when they are ready. The new method removes even more of the effects of the reamping process to get as close as possible to the pristine sounds of the power stage only. We think you will agree that it is a worthy improvement. If for any reason in future any of you want to obtain the old versions of these packs, you only need to ask (as long as you own them already) and we will send them, but to avoid confusion once we launch the remasters they will replace the old ones on the store... Be interesting to hear what you think, we are super happy with the results. We will let you know when a date has been set for the switch, any questions let me know.
Summary of changes in upcoming packs:
1. The format has been made more compact, removing unnecessary profiles that serve no purpose. The previous method of having seperated Low, High and Max level profiles turned out to be completely unnecessary, as reducing the input gain on the Max profile yielded exactly the same result. This allows for only 5 profiles per pack instead of 15.
2. We are also remastering the included bonus preamp file in each pack using our new tools.
3. The included speaker IR that was previously in the bonus content will be replaced with a Quantum Speaker file instead.
4. Edits to the user manual will be made to reflect those changes.
The Deep Dive, when its ready has been made with these new versions, so you will see it all explained when that hits the YT channel, we will announce it in the group when its ready......
